GBP 13.00 - GBP 13.50 (DOE)
Syntax Consultancy have a contract role for an Information System/Asset Analyst to be based in Nottingham for a 6 month contract.
Key skills, experience and responsibilities will include...
. Providing administrative support to the Head of Information Governance (Data Protection Officer).
. To ensure that each system/asset has appropriate documented access controls in place.
. To identify how each system/asset would function in the event of a business continuity scenario.
. Act as a key member of the IM&T team and contribute to furthering the aims and objectives of the service.
. Experience of using Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and Outlook.
. Capable of interpreting and presenting data regarding audit findings to the Head of IG & IM&T in a clear and concise fashion.
. Car driver
. Be responsible for ensuring specialist knowledge is kept up to date, attending training and gaining qualifications when appropriate.
. To work closely with the Information Security Officer when any security areas of concern are identified.
. To work with the Information Asset Owners (IAO)/Information Asset Administrators (IAA) to audit the function and security of the systems/assets.
