IP Telephony Systems Engineer - Contract (Dublin)
I am currently with a Telecommunications company based in Dublin who have an opportunity for an IP Telephony system engineer experienced with SIP and Voice Engineering to join them on a contract basis.
Responsibilities:
- Design and template customer voice/SIP solutions
- Review existing deployments and create a plan to migrate to templates
- Working on management and maintenance of core VoIP stack
- Customer and pre-sales support
- Participate in a 24x7 on call rotation
- Travel and work from client sites
The successful candidate will have some or all the following skills:
- Fluency with SIP/SDP/RTP protocols and codecs.
- Experience with IP Networking - where it applies to VoIP and QoS.
- Knowledge of security considerations in VoIP networks including a good understanding of VPNs/tunnelling, packet filters, statefull Firewalling and some experience with Firewall devices.
- Good documentation skills.
- Full driving license.
