Role : Embedded Software Engineer - C/C++/LinuxSalary : £45,000 - £55,000 per annum + Company Benefits
Location : Bristol
Our market leading client located here in beautiful Bristol, currently has a need for at least 1 Embedded Software Engineer to join its talented and professional R&D team.
As an experienced Engineer with a minimum of 4-5 years commercial experience, you will be immediately integrated into the team, expected to hit the ground running and be fully involved in software design and development from the get go.
Essential Skills and Attributes
- Degree qualified in Software Related Principles or similar.
- 4-5 years commercial Embedded Software Development using C and C++.
- Fluent working on a Linux Platform and Linux Kernel Driver Development.
- A solid understanding of developing Linux Applications
- An ability to develop onto modern micro controllers.
- An ability to understand and read schematics in relation to Embedded Development.
- An ability to debug software issues and resolve problems.
- An ability to use an Oscilloscope and other Test Devices.
- An understanding of working with Revision Control Systems i.e. GIT or Subversion.
