Job Title: Quality Assurance/Compliance Officers

Competitive Daily Pay Rates: £285 - £460 Per Day

Experience required

  • Maintenance and control of a Quality Management System (QMS) that ensures regular audit, corrective and preventative actions for all aspects of the 9 Airworthiness Responsibilities iaw MAA RA 4947 across all aspects of the Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO), including the operator, maintainer and Type Airworthiness Authority (TAA).
  • Review and provide oversight of the subordinate maintenance organizations QMSs as well as Project Team processes, especially where CAMO and TAA responsibilities overlap.
  • Review and provide feedback on all audit reports, including Internal QA and External QA, relating to Bell 212, AS350BB Squirrel HT2 and AS365 N3 Dauphin CAMO activity, irrespective of the unit/organization being audited.
  • Report and advise on all audit findings, particularly route cause analysis and rectification. Ensure completion within prescribed timescales.
  • Present trending reports and progress against all remedial action plans to the Military Continuing Airworthiness Manager (Mil CAMs) during the CAMO Quality Review Meeting, acting as secretary to the meeting.
  • Conduct audits of the CAMO, presenting all outcomes to the Mil CAMs at quarterly CAM meetings.
  • Contribute to the procedural review of all QMS processes regarding the management of Continuing Airworthiness, to ensure their continued effectiveness and adequacy to meet MRP Part M Sub Part C, Sub Part G and Sub Part I requirements.
  • Draft and contribute to regular CAMO documents as directed by the Mil CAMs, including reports and CAM Expositions.
    1. Production and delivery of effective audit plans to cover all aspects of CAMO (x2) business.
    2. Conduct audits in support of Task 1 above and produce reports.
    3. Generate quarterly reports for 2 x CAMOs.
  • Quality Assurance Lead Auditor to a recognised standard (ISO 9001/AS 9100).
  • ASIMS user.
  • Airworthiness of military aircraft.
  • Human Factors foundation.
  • IEng/CEng desirable
