Description

SAP S4 HANA Architect required for a contract in Malaysia starting ASAP for an initial 5 months.

Brief overview of the Solution Architect.
To lead a design team in the blueprint and be able to provide guidance and support to the business and vendors. In-depth understanding of S4 HANA capabilities. Must be able to carve out the best process design touching multiple modules with S4 HANA. To provide best industry practices and to develop and present architectures. Direct responsible of the design quality, this include the design outcome including implementation plan, timeline and costing.

The main responsibilities:
1. Design and development of Functional/Technical design & architecture roadmaps for the solution, taking the current architecture as the starting point.
2. Responsible for interpretation and translation of business requirements into workable solution design
3. Aligning application architecture, business architecture and information architecture with techno-functional and people requirements.
4. Work with the UAT planning team to plan Tests scope - eg SIT, UAT, Regression Test, Performance & Stress Test
5. Determine all system environment requirements and tools.
6. Ensure that the team follows the design standards, guidelines
7. Review the design and implementation to ensure that they meet the entry and exit criteria and aligned to quality management review requirements. Ensure solution and test results signed-off by the business.
8. Consultation with Enterprise Architects to ensure compliance with Group architecture standards and directions development of design documents. Provide input, monitor, and coordinate the project solution team across infrastructure, technical, and functional work streams.
9. Management and facilitation of formal approvals for functional & technical design documents and retention of these documents. Coordinate project deliverables for all Functional Areas which includes stress test, string testing, performance test, test execution and cutover
10. Establish and develop focus group which will understand current technology trends and identify solution offerings which will translate into projects and revenue.
11. Impact analysis of functional and technical architecture design options including cost/benefit analysis for all projects in the project pipeline.
12. Lead the enterprise functional/technical architecture throughout the project. Manage and monitor the program activities from Test Phase to Deployment across SAP and Non-SAP for Solution Integration, Data Migration, Testing, ABAP, and Deployment Planning.
13. Development of solutions for discussion with stakeholders. Manage and resolve design integration issues with relevant business and stakeholder. Provide input on the change impact assessment from end to end system solutioning perspective.
14. Formal handover of all design documents and approvals to Business.
15. Work with the Product and Business Subject matter consultant in relation to business solution blueprint document.
16. Direct responsible of the blueprint quality, this include the blueprint outcome such as implementation plan, timeline, costing and etc.
17. Impact analysis of architecture design options including cost/benefit analysis for S4 Hana technical design.Challenge all requirements raised during SAP project deliverables implementation via Change Request
18. Work with business, SME's and Hardware team to design best execution approach.

Skills Needed

1. Knowledge/Experience: Strong in Solution Architecture knowledge and experience with strong SAP background. Experience in solution design for large SAP implementation (ECC and S4HANA). The experience should include ERP system optimization, Capability usage and Interface to external systems, ERP capability usage and Interface key product decision capability.

2. Solution Management and Best practice: Ensure the design adhere to the design principles as well as best practices which aligned with Client's Group directions.

3. Requirement Management: Align the design scope based on the requirements through the approved blueprint as well as approved change order.

4. Quality Management: Define and manage the standard, quality, workability and completeness of the integrated design satisfy its goals and objectives. Also enable the processes, tools, and techniques used to perform quality planning, quality assurance, and quality control and sign-off activities.
