SC Cleared Service Architect - SIAM, ITIL - OUTSIDE IR35 - London/Croydon - 9 months + - £510 per day
Our Government client is seeking an exceptional SC Cleared Service Architect for their Croydon/London based programme. (SC Clearance MUST be Current and Live). This role is Outside of IR35
The role will involve:
- Senior stakeholder engagements to understand relationships between Business Unit Services and the transition to Live Serve Services SIAM model
- Drafting transition models for approval by the Programme Manager and Business unit TDA and EAs
- Delivering results after thorough research of functional needs by collaborating and communication between various users
- Using strong analytical reasoning to understand end user's requirements and transforming them into operational application
- Acquiring deep knowledge of working systems and bringing efficient and effective changes for better performance
- Understanding business process management and business requirements of the customers and translating them to specific requirements
- Making sure that the recommended solution is optimal
- Understanding the technical designs as well as the specifications.
- Effectively communicating with project teams, service teams and stakeholders to deliver functional requirements.
- Very strong technical skills, coupled with Business Intelligence and a deep understanding of the customer's needs so that they can be transformed into application and operational requirements
- Acting as an interface between business units, technology teams and support teams
Experience Required:
- Deep understanding of SIAM or ITIL
- Broad IT domain experience in three or more of the following areas IT areas: Applications Development, Enterprise Architecture, Project Management, Vendor Management, Quality Assurance, Infrastructure, and Maintenance and Support
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in both verbal and written communication
- Demonstrated analytical skills
- Basic understanding of information technology and business concepts
- Familiarity with general business functions
- Problem solving and strong communication
- Understanding the role of the service based environment and the application.
- Understanding of TOGAF/MODAF architectural frameworks.
- Understanding Scrum Master principals
Key Tasks and Deliverables:
The main responsibilities of the post are:
- Work with service teams to elicit high-level requirements and capture business needs
- Clearly articulate and document business requirements
- Assess the risks of various solutions and prioritise competing business demands
- Manage ongoing relationship with business partner to drive satisfaction with IT
- Coordinate project delivery by participating in design reviews and walk-throughs to communicate systems designs and validate proposed solutions
- Obtain key inputs from enterprise architecture teams and identifiy solution interdependencies
- Engage with knowledge workers to incorporate usability and user interface needs when designing systems
- Proactively resolve customer satisfaction issues
- Negotiate contracts, manage relationships, and monitor vendor performance against SLAs
