Security Specialist
My Client requires a Security Specialist whom's scope of services and deliverables are detailed below.
Objectives
- Provide superior security expertise to ensure that the SOC project is delivering a professional service to its customers
- Provide superior expertise in the integration of application or service in ArcSight
- Conduct a requirement gathering exercise, based on function and law and regulations
- Create an efficiency and effectiveness of on boarding of customers and a global rollout strategy
- Create and enhance internal processes and procedures
- Create and enhance customer reports
- Professional communications and reporting to stakeholders and customers
- Contribute to the overall performance and success of the Security Operations Centre
- Determine detailed customer inventory and requirements information
- Produce technical ArcSight designs, both high and low level
Main tasks
- The Cyber security consultant is analysing customer requirements, legal and compliancy requirements
- Participates and contribute to the development of recommendations and the presentations of missions to clients
- Systemically analyze and identify problems, define the symptoms and causes, propose solutions.
- Identify requirements of customers into services and procedures o Able to determine use cases out of threats and concerns
- Classifying goals in order of priority
- Integrate more complex items into the SOC
- Contribute to the project planning and communicating process
- Contribute to the project global delivery
- Create and consult use case frameworks, content and procedural documents

Technical competencies
- Use Case Development and Engineer expert required

- Certifications GIAC, CISSP or equivalent (strongly beneficial)
- Fluent in English
Overall work experience in the field
- Experience in information security domain Solid educational background in security > 7 years
- Specific experience in all aspects of ArcSight solutions Background as an ArcSight Engineer is required > 5 years
- Work experience in a global organization > 3 years
Examples of Deliverables
- Designs, both high and low level
- Assessment and analysis of business requirements and proposals for related SIEM/SOC solutions
- Use case frameworks, content and procedural documents
- Delivery on all aspects of the ArcSight platform, from design through deployment including content development and engineering.
