Capability Manager - SDA/TDA, Systems Engineering, Naval Combat Management System Design
My client, a defence electronics specialist, has a new requirement for a contract Capability Manager, to be based at either their High Wycombe or Greenford site.
A great opportunity where the successful candidate will assist in the development of a proposal for a Frigate Combat System Integration (CSI) role. This will include development and supply of a Combat Management System (CMS).
Key skills required for the role include:
*Degree in a relevant subject (Engineering or Computer Science) or equivalent qualification/experience.
*Knowledge of Systems Engineering best practices and common pitfalls.
*Working knowledge/appreciation of software electrical, electronic and mechanical engineering.
*Knowledge of Naval Combat Management Systems
*Experience of Naval Combat Management Systems design
*Experience of writing proposals
*Experienced in Integration, Test, Evaluation and Acceptance (ITEA) Planning
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
*Development of Request for Proposals (RFPs) for subsystems and their corresponding evaluation
*Contribution to the technical proposal
*Combat System Architecture Design
*Integration, Test, Evaluation and Acceptance (ITEA) Planning
*Combat System Security architecture design and accreditation planning (JSP440)
*Combat System Safety Management Planning.
Please note that due to the nature of the project, the successful candidate must be capable of attaining SC clearance as a minimum.
