Your tasks:
- Become the basis for an internal team to start developing an internal architecture and engineering function
- Lead the team
Your qualifications
- Broad knowledge of virtualisation technologies, with specific in-depth knowledge of VMware, vSphere Enterprise (feature set (5.5 and 6.5 as a minimum)
- Excellent ESXi OS level knowledge, problem analysis and tuning experience (memory, disk, network, file system etc.)
- Strong scripting skills (shell / vCLI, PowerCLI)
- Good understanding of the vSphere API and of EMC and 3Par storage technologies (virtualisation architecture)
- High level of proactivity, team player mentality, commitment and ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Current experience in having engineered ESX for the customer (bank) and extensive experience in understanding customers' processes, procedures, technical policies is mandatory
- Good English skills, German of advantage
