SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR/CCNA/POLYCOM/NATO/DV CLEARED/COSMIC TOP SECRET/Exchange Server/ITIL
RATE: €42 - 48 per hour
LOCATION: Mons (Belgium)
CLEARANCE: DV Cleared/COSMIC Top Secret
Essential Skills:
The individual must have:
Practical knowledge of the Linux (RH 6.x, 7.x) and UNIX Operating Systems
Familiarity with the fundamentals of Linux Scripting languages
Practical knowledge in the management of virtualization environment based on VMware vSphere (min v5.5)
Practical knowledge of Backup/Restore in Day to Day Business and DR scenarios
Knowledge of standard industry network Operating Systems (OS) concepts
Knowledge network protocols and network management technology
Familiarity with load balancing, Firewalls, etc.
Ability to build and monitor services on production Servers
Previous experience in a Military environment
Knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) concepts
INFOSEC (COMPUSEC)
Demonstrable evidence in maintaining knowledge of advances in Information Technology;
Prior experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements;
Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization, including Allied Command Operations and Allied Command Transformation.
It is desirable that the incumbent has the following experience/education:
* Sound knowledge of communications protocols and practical experience of using diagnostic test equipment;
* Commercial certifications; Security+, CCNA, Polycom CVE;
* Familiarity with military voice and data systems;
* Experience of related communications systems and techniques of ATM, TDM, Frame Relay and MPLS;
* Experience with integrating communications systems with Active Directory and PKI technologies;
* Experience of preparing technical documentation and Standard Operating Procedures.
Duties/role:
Responsible for the system administration of assigned systems.
* Help tune performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure
* Design and develop infrastructure monitoring and reporting tools
* Develop and maintain configuration management solutions
* Develop test automation frameworks in collaboration with rest of the team
* Create tools to help teams make the most out of the available infrastructure
* Identifies operational problems and contributes to their resolution.
* Performs analysis and implementation of user requirements.
* Implements disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity.
* Contributes to the development of Standard Operating Procedures for routine system administration tasks.
* Uses system management software and tools to collect agreed performance statistics.
