We are seeking an experienced Security Architect for Retail Systems to join our team in London on a contract basis. Cyber threat is one of our client's highest priority risks and they are continuously evolving their cyber security strategy. A key part of the overall Cyber Strategy is to ensure the safe and reliable operation of their retail operations across 18000 locations worldwide. The Retail Security Architect will design, build, and oversee the implementation of cyber security strategies and solutions to the Retail operation. The Security Architect is expected to deliver the solution architecture for key security projects/
initiatives for the Retail area including PCI DSS. The role will form part of the Enterprise Security Architecture team.
Key accountabilities;
- Own the security architecture for key Digital Security projects and initiatives in the Retail space
- Agree and create all architecture deliverables
- Ensure that organizational standards, security policies and reference architectures are followed to mitigate security risks
- Interface with architecture, network, operations and business stakeholders to ensure that proposed designs address organisational needs
- Develop or assist with the development of security reference architectures and strategies that lay the foundation for current and future Retail, PCN, and IOT security solutions
- Plan architecture changes, help make project management recommendations, and document solution security procedures.
Essential experience and job requirements;
- This role will require excellent collaboration skills and will require the ability to build effective partnerships with vendors, peer architects, security teams and Operational Service lines
- Delivering compelling architectural solutions in complex organisations, engaging stakeholders and high-quality deliverables and presentations
- Experience successfully defining and implementing security architectures/solutions in a Retail environment
- Good understanding of system functionality and network connectivity in retail environment
- Strong knowledge of PCI DSS
- Must be a self-starter with the ability and drive to own and deliver a work package with minimal guidance and support
- College degree education or equivalent experience
Desirable Criteria
- Experience with IOT Security and an understanding of the unique challenges IOT brings for security architectures.
- Familiarity of solutions and/or security for applications hosted in different types of cloud (IAAS, PAAS and SAAS)
- CISA, CISSP, GICSP, or other relevant certification
- TOGAF Certification
