Description
We are looking for a Presales Datacentre Architect
Experience in designing solutions as a presales architect for managed services and outsourcing projects is a must. This can vary from complete solutions to additional demands/change requests going from 10K to over 1 million
You'll work within the contractual context of an outsourcing contract and initialises as such also contractual changes. You'll design Solutions that meet the appropriate optimised cost point within contractual context.
You design solutions conform the prescribed processes and methodologies for development of solutions and their approvals.
You apply a maximal usage of our standard Portfolio, Service Elements and Delivery capability and regularly contribute to both users of company knowledge repositories and events.
You will lead virtual teams in pre-sales as a Lead Architect.
You have a solid knowledge of Data Center Services and Service Management solutions such as:
- DataCenter Technologies
- Storage and Backup (Eternus, Netapp, Symantec NBU)
- Server (blade technology), Virtualization (VMware)
- Network (Brocade, Cisco, Juniper),
- Standard applications (Microsoft, SAP)
- private cloud environments (VMware based)
- knowledge of IaaS, SaaS and PaaS
You have a good knowledge of
- Enterprise Architecture in multi-tower context
- Broad spectrum IT domains
- The ins and outs of the different service towers and their interaction
- Service Management and service delivery modelling
- Transition and Transformation of complex environments
- Solution development life cycle
- Cost modelling, cost modification and cost creation
You will translate the business requirements to a customer solution in a contractual context.
You have a strong commercial awareness and business focus, furthermore you have strong writing and presentation skills.
You have proven experience in:
- Working with near and offshore delivery and pricing models.
