Analytical Development Scientist wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.Your experience/skills:
- BSc with specialization in analytical chemistry or Laboratory technician training with according working experience
- 2 years' of experience in instrumental analytics like chromatography, electrophoresis, and spectroscopy as well as familiarity with protein analytics and characterization
- Ability to interpret results and scientific information
- Excellent organisational and team skills, enhanced by confidence in MS Office software
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Providing analytical support for biopharmaceutical protein development projects by utilising physico-chemical test methods such as HPLC, CE, peptide mapping, mass spectrometry, cIEF, SDS-PAGE and spectroscopy
- Conducting routine analytical testing and analytical characterization programs for materials intended for pre-clinical and clinical use
- Outlining and executing the analyses and evaluating document the results
- Taking responsibility for the collection and management of analytical data
