Job Description
Environmental Campaigns with responsibility for developing communications and campaigns strategies and plans to support delivery of departmental priorities to include air quality, global leadership on illegal wildlife trade, waste and plastics.
Experience Required
- Strong track record of managing and leading teams to deliver ambitious and effective communication campaigns.
- Strong track record of designing and delivering communication campaigns using a wider mix of channels including digital, media, stakeholder, events and branding.
- Experience of developing and nurturing innovation and creativity to achieve outcomes for low cost/no-cost and campaigns with budget.
- Strong influencing skills and experience of building positive relationships and networks internally and externally with stakeholders, partners and colleagues.
- Excellent planning, management and organisational ability.
- The ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines and carry others with them under such circumstances.
- Strong analytical skills, plus excellent written and oral communications skills reflecting the need to explain complex policy areas to non-specialist audiences in a clear and engaging way.
