Opportunity for InfoSphere Specialists
Our client, a Federal Government Department in Canberra is seeking the services of multiple InfoSphere Specialists.
Contract: April 2018 to 30 June 2018 (with 2*12 months contract extension option)
Responsibilities and Duties
The services will include and not be limited to:
- Providing Subject Matter Expertise around the InfoSphere suite of products;
- Providing industry approaches into efficient and best practices with data processing;
- Supporting the upgrade of InfoSphere products and related activities;
- Providing designs for enhanced functionality utilising the InfoSphere products
- Providing SME/Governance support to the team.
Qualifications and Skills
- 3 years experience with InfoSphere DataStage versions 11.3 or higher with overall Data Warehouse Architecture and Best practices;
- 5+ years experience in the following programs: ETL and Data Migration; InfoSphere Datastage; Analyzer developer and administration; and QualityStage development and administration;
- Ability to be a self-starter with the ability to appropriately prioritise and plan complex work in a rapidly changing environment;
- Be results oriented with ability to produce quality products that deliver organisational benefit;
- Well-developed analytical and conceptual skills;
- High level verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills;
- Ability to interact proactively with internal and external customers;
- Professional IBM certification in DataStage; (Desirable)
- Experience with Teradata Database; (Desirable)
- Experience with IBM Data Replication (Change Data Capture).(Desirable)
