Middleware Specialist Role and Responsibilities:
This role will see the successful candidate This will involve working as part of project teams in planning activities, completing detailed designs underpinned by architectures, T2P, testing, implementation and warranty support of diverse projects employing different technologies.
What' involved:
Works as part of the ETI Telecoms and Middleware team as a senior infrastructure specialist specialising in Middleware technologies.
- Support existing applications environments
- Writes and maintains operating, maintenance and standards manuals for Middleware infrastructure
- Plans and leads implementation of Middleware systems into Production
- Work with analysts troubleshooting, testing and monitoring equipment
- Manage short term projects to successful completion
What you need:
- 7+ years working with MQ Series and/WebSphere
- 10+ year's experience in a senior technical role
- Third level qualification and/a certification in the technical area
- Operating Systems such as Windows, AIX & Linux
- Understanding of Software Architecture, design principles and best practices
- Working knowledge of Virtualization technologies and methodologies
