Scope is Mainframe
Someone who can configure the network settings on the Mainframe in such a way that they connect with what the (external) network provider wants to deliver (which is a new architecture). Also, the candidate should be able to advise/tell the network provider what is technically possible and what is not. The client goes from a stretched VLAN over 2 locations to separate VLANs. This has an impact on the network configuration on the Mainframes and the connections between the different sysplexes. The new architecture also has consequences for the Disaster Recovery.

The Architect is needed to create a clear view on the current network design and give directions to the future state connected to the 3DC network of the Mainframe.
