Principal Electrical Engineer, Senior Electrical Engineer, Electrical Engineer
Location: Barrow
Duration: 6 months
Rate: £45.47 per hour
Clearance: SC clearance (must be willing and eligible to undergo, prior to project start date)
Key skills: Electrical Engineer, Cabling, Design Selection, Connectors, Power and Instrumentation, Chartered Engineer, IMechE, Process Plants, Pipe Systems, Pressure Equipment and Calculations.
Due to the secure nature of our client's project, the successful candidate must either hold valid SC Clearance or be willing to undergo prior to the commencement of the project.
My client, a global organisation, is currently looking for a high level Electrical Engineer to assist with their vessel requirements.
The successful Electrical Engineer will:
- Evaluate test arrangements to ensure are safe for the operators and for the product
- Define test arrangements
- Generate equipment parts through to release
- Specification and Design of test equipment
- Validation calculations proving designs
- Generating Test Arrangement Diagrams
- Development of processes and practices
- Liaising with system owners and transverse owners for sign off of test designs
- Provide Engineering support to T&C engineers and act as points of technical authority
Essential skills;
- Mixed experience across power and instrumentation
- Experience designing electrical test arrangements
- Experience writing technical specifications
- Cabling, Design Selection, Connectors, Power & Instrumentation, Cable Schedules, Calculations and Drawings experience
- Ideally chartered engineer (IET etc.)
