Description
Infrastructure Engineer wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.Your experience/skills:
- 8+ years' of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, as well as in a regulated environment with Computer System; laboratory or manufacturing experience as 2nd level support
- 8+ years' of experience with business processes in the manufacturing or laboratory environment
- Validation background with working in a project environment and in Informatics Service Support and Service Delivery as well as with system installation and maintenance of operating systems, hardware and peripheral devices e.g. bar code scanner, printer etc.
- Know-how of manufacturing and laboratory systems and strong technical skills in different operating systems and network infrastructure
- Tools: Windows ; VMware; Citrix; Windows 7; Windows 10; ITIL certification and GxP certification; CSV knowledge, ideally 2-3 years of experience
- Languages: fluent German and English, both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Ensuring that operational work, project related activities and on-call services are performed according to defined KPIs
- Providing infrastructure and application management and supporting operational stability and effectiveness of several applications and Infrastructure platform
- Contributing to the core business and informatics processes and solutions by applying specific knowledge of systems and tools, as well as problem solving skills, to support these processes and solutions
- Collaborate with end users to identify needs and opportunities for improved data management and delivery as well as resolving problems for resolution when appropriate
