Your tasks:
- Analyse worldwide EMC norms and standards and carry out risk analysis
- Establish and conduct EMC technical reviews with subcontractors and design engineers to ensure EMC requirements are met
- Identify and perform activities to ensure legislative requirements are met
- Appoint and monitor independent bodies to review and assess design documents
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical EMC issues
- Preparation and execution of test plans and preparing test reports
- Present reports both internally and to customers
Your qualifications
- Electrical engineering professional degree or equivalent
- Profound engineering experience in automotive and/or e-mobility business
- Solid understanding of EMC design, testing of products and highly skilled in EMC/ESD debug techniques
- Prior experience and/or education in EMC, ESD, RF and signal integrity
- Prior experience in UL/CE product certification
- Profound understanding of worldwide EMC regulations, standards and test methods
- Hands-on experience in test equipment/EMC chambers
- Knowledge of IEC 61000 series
- Willingness to travel within Germany (up to 20%)
