Wifi/Wireless Engineer (Cisco) - Brussels, Belgium
Languages: FRENCH and/or DUTCH, with ENGLISH
Skills and Experience:
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent training with professional experience.
- Strong analytical thinking and knowledge of procedures.
- Knowledge of routing and switching principles (minimum CCNA level).
- Cisco WiFi Certification:
- CNNA Wireless
- CNNP Wireless
- CCIE Wireless (optional)
- Optional product knowledge:
- Understanding of RADIUS
- Understanding of RF Design
- RF Troubleshooting
- Wireless Troubleshooting
- Basic knowledge of Firewalls
Description of work:
- The Proven WiFi Engineer will be part of the team responsible to deliver WiFi projects to clients. Most of the projects involve a combination of some or all of the following technologies/hardware:
- Cisco WLC
- Cisco Virtual WLC
- Cisco Lightweight AP
- Cisco Autonomous AP
- Cisco ISE
- Cisco CMX
- Cisco Prime Infrastructure
- Microsoft IAS/NPS
- This position will include the design of new infrastructures, implementing these solutions and assisting the support team during troubleshooting and problem solving.
