Description
A Government Department in Canberra requires the services of a System Tester to perform testing of changes to business systems delivered under the program of work and ensure they are of high quality and support business requirements within an agile team, the System Tester will support the delivery of changes by:
- Reviewing and updating requirements/user stories and providing associated test estimates;
- Developing and executing manual test cases against business system platforms;
- Preparing complex test data;
- Developing, reviewing and maintaining test documentation, including test plans, test summary reports, testing processes and knowledge base articles;
- Identifying, documenting and managing defects through to resolution;
- Managing tasks and testing artefacts within Team Foundation Server;
- Attending and contributing to scrum events (sprint planning, daily stand-up, sprint retrospective);
- Performing knowledge transfer, training and demonstrations to team members and stakeholders;
- Contributing to the development of their automation testing capability; and.
- Other duties as directed.
The contract period is ASAP to end December 2018 with 2*12 months extension options.
The client requires the candidate to hold a Baseline clearance prior to commencement.
