Middleware, Engineer, JBoss, WebSphere, Tomcat, Apache, WebSealJob Title: Middleware Engineer
Location: Dublin
End Date/Duration: 12 months - possible extension
Story Behind the Need:
My client are looking for a third headcount within the build team.
This role is to build Middleware components that have already been designed by other teams; JBoss, WebSphere, Tomcat, Apache, WebSeal.
Team is focused on Security Solutions - shared components of the business.
Typical Day in the Role
The team is working hand in hand with the apps team on how that specific application is integrating with the infrastructure that they've built out
They build out the components - hand in hand with the apps team - troubleshoot - figuring out how to make the applications work with the infrastructure that has been built
Must Have Skills
Middleware experience - JBoss/WebSphere either one
Exposure to SSL (protocol) doesn't need to be consistent experience but some exposure would be great -
Loadbalancer experience - F5 or Netscaler
Between 4 - 8 years' experience in a similar role
Build and Middleware experience
