Description
We have a project requirement for a SharePoint Consultant for a complex data migration project.
The client is remodeling the current Architecture and creating an enterprise Information Architecture to help with the management of records and retention schedules. Currently using SharePoint version is 2010 with Easyshare add-on. The client is also using IDOX EDRMS 4.1.2.4, and will be upgrading to the latest version in early 2018. The new version will include a document retention/GDPR module which will enable the destruction of old files prior to the migration taking place.
The requirement:
- Experienced SharePoint Consultant with Data Migration project experience to move all documents onto a Supplier provided single 'hosted' SharePoint system (MS Office Cloud Version 2016) or equivalent.
- SharePoint SME to review the proposed Information Architecture Plan and to ensure it will be fit for purpose - this involves reviewing architectural designs and consulting with stakeholders
- Provide expertise in Enterprise Architecture principles, using past experience and best practice in this specialist area liaising with the client's developers to finalise the Architecture.
- Work with the client and architect a solution with an emphasis on records/document management and adhere to the principles of data management and any GDPR requirements.
