We are working in partnership with one of Cambridge's leading innovative science and technology businesses, on the acquisition of a Project Quality Engineer to join their world class team. This client is at the forefront of cutting edge technology design and development across the medical sector
Ideal Candidate:
I am looking for a Project Quality Engineer that has had experience within a business that works with medical devices. They will have a degree or a HND in a Technical or Engineering discipline. They will need to be driven and flexible so they can operate within various Quality Management Systems within client organisations. The business does have a developed successful QMS in place itself so working within this is paramount. As the business is a Consultancy they will need to have experience of working on projects and dealing with a variety of customers/projects. They will need to have worked to ISO13485, ISO14971 and 21 CFR part 820. This person will be hungry to develop and possibly come from a background where they are looking to step up and progress within Medical Devices, Pharma or within another Consultancy.
Job description and key responsibilities:
The role of Project Quality Engineer is to ensure that ISO 13485, ISO 14971 and 21 CFR 820 are adhered to throughout the process of Concept, Design and Delivery to the Manufacturing partners. As a Consultancy, this role is very varied and exciting, affording a very real chance of progression and development to the right candidate. As there is a solid QMS in place there is no need to implement or change anything there but any suggestions are greatly appreciated. This job for Project Quality Engineer is to basically see projects through following the QMS for the Consultancy whilst working with Client's QMS (which will be varied) which is where the flexibility and ability to think on your feet come in. As this is a customer facing role you will be working directly with Client's QA teams to ensure all standards are met. This is a role that is away from a Manufacturing environment and will be solely following the Concept, Design and Delivery to the Client.
