Summary:
Within the SOC we are looking for a security systems engineer who can contribute to SOC service at system level for a period of (at least) 6 months.. The function involves performing the management and maintenance of the SOC systems (90% linux) and introducing a professionalisation process by implementing a configuration management tooling, health monitoring (based on open sources tooling) and hardening.. You are also responsible for dealing with incidents on the operating system and the technical application management of SIEM/log management in cooperation with the product managers.
Task:
Health checks;
Application backups;
Maintenance of certificates/PKI;
Installation and updates of applications;
User management;
Scripting and automating SOC platforms
Design and organization of a generic health monitoring system on the SOC systems.
Skills:
- 3 years experience with Linux operating systems such as Red Hat and CentOS (3 years experience)
- IP network protocols and technologies (2 years experience)
- Server hardware (2 years experience)
- Shell-Scripting Bash, AWK (2 years experience)
- Testing the safety and stability of (network) systems (2 years experience)
