Description
Mainframe Scheduler is required to one of our clients based in Belfius, Belgium
Technical Landscape: Mainframe system platform - Z/OS, TSO, JCL, DB2
Job-specific requirements:
- 4-5 years of experience in Mainframe Operations (planning & scheduling)
- Manage batch schedules using automated tools
- Knowledge of scheduling tool TWS/IWS or experience with an other schedule tool is a plus
- Knowledge of at least one Scripting languages (Visual Basic, PERL, REXX, )
- Basic knowledge Linux, Windows and Mainframe
- Very good Knowledge of JCL is key
- Work with client to setup batch flows as requested with no conflicts with other batch streams
- Interact with Client Applications teams to ensure the batch flows as designed
- Manage requests for additions, deletions, and adjustments to batch schedules
- Review client batch streams and suggest changes to enhance the batch environment
- Support Batch Operations team on batch schedule issues
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Nice to have - French/Dutch
- Ready to learn a lot of new things in short period
