Description

Hi In order to support this expension, my client needs to reinforce System Integration team with modem engineers enjoying technical challenges on a fastly growning technology. System Integration team is in charge of integrating modem and application features in order to build final products. As such SI engineer has the hands on the product and covers a wide range of techniques. His/her position implies to understand architecture, system and features in order to define how the new features shall be stressed and debug. SI engineer is able to investigate issues, analyze source code and propose code patches in tight relation with software development team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Integration of software changes (bug fixes and new features), with a strong focus on LTE protocol stack, RF management and low power procedures for Embedded devices Writing and performing system integration tests plans
  • Investigating issues raised on the field or coming from other teams to reproduce and diagnose the issue
  • Provide remote and onsite support for the investigation of failing test cases PROFILE:
  • Ability to understand and investigate interaction of various hardware and software blocks and their application in a wireless environment (LTE), including protocol procedures
  • Ability to analyze, track and report issues
  • Highly motivated, fast learner and autonomous
  • Work well within a multicultural team

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Engineering degree with 5 + years professional experience in the telecoms domain
  • Experience in Embedded software development
  • Knowledge and practical experience of mobile communication protocols (UMTS, LTE)
  • Knowledge in LTE Rel13 is a plus
  • Knowledge in C and C++, Python, Linux, git, administration tools
  • Knowledge of other wireless technologies (GPS, Wifi) is a plus
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and spoken communication skills (French is not required)
