Description

Quanta are looking for an Electrical Commissioning Engineer to be based in Ireland for a contract opportunity with a leading organisation involved in marine renewable energy projects. Based within one hour of Dublin airport our client specialises in the design, manufacturing, installation and maintenance of vital components for offshore renewable projects.

Based in an idyllic location within one hour of Dublin airport you will be based at the client's technical development facility supporting the continued development and evolution of their product offering.

As the Commissioning Engineer, you will be:

  • Supporting the Commissioning Manager to commission, calibrate and validate equipment to the relevant specification.
  • Troubleshooting, fault-finding, and performing function tests on automation control systems.
  • Carrying out commissioning in manufacturing facility prior to sail away/installation.
  • Carrying out CQV test plans.
  • Writing technical documentation and assisting with documentation preparation.
You will already have:
  • A degree in electro/electro-mechanical Engineering.
  • Good knowledge of Automation and Instrumentation Systems.
  • Experience commissioning LV and HV equipment.
  • Power generation or power conversion experience.
