Are you currently seeking a new opportunity? I am currently seeking a migration engineer for a large financial organisation in Luxembourg.
Our client is looking for a migration engineer to help accomplish a complex transformation from desktop environment to another. The sucesful candidate will have previous experience in workplace transformation programmes and desktop migrations.
Daily Responsibilities:
We expect the successful candidate to be able to visit users desks and help them migrate to the new network/desktop environment. Help them setup applications and provide 2nd line level desktop troubleshooting. Helping users Logon, Print, map network folders.Help a user who has an issue before/during/after their migration. Be able to provide 2nd line support to a user; either at their desk or over the telephone. Be able to diagnose and fix common IT/Desktop issues eg the printer isn't working or an Outlook Folder is missing.
Practical knowledge of:
- Windows 10
- Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop
- Desktop Application Troubleshooting (Windows/Office/Print)
- Troubleshooting Desktop/Thin Client hardware
