Required Skills/Experience
- First level Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM I)
- Experience playing the Scrum Master role
The key responsibilities of the Scrum Master are as follows:
Facilitate Daily Stand-Up meetings
Prepare Sprint Backlogs
Help the team maintain their pace of delivery
Set up Sprint Reviews and Sprint Planning sessions
Assist Product Owners facilitate Sprint Demos
Shield the Sprint Team from interruptions during the Sprint
Remove obstacles that affect the team
Support Product Owners in creation of User Stories
Encourage collaboration between the Scrum team and Product Owners when required
Maintain an accurate and timely RAID log for Scrum Teams
Ensure JIRA Reports are being updated on a daily basis
Measure Team Velocity
Provide Product Owners with Estimates when required
The Scrum Master will need to work with a number of SMEs across multiple locations (OPS, ITC, NCH) for the duration of the project as well as facilitate a number of workshops across different locations.
