Description
Enterprise Message Monitoring Technical SME. My client, a leading multinational is looking for an Enterprise Message Monitoring specialist for a fantastic role in London. A Proactive monitoring project is being run with a monitoring solution that will be deployed to all manufacturing and logistics sites to identify message inconsistencies. The strategic decision is to deploy Elastic to monitor the landscape end-to-end at the message, infrastructure (and potentially application) layer.
My client requires a specialist who has
1. Worked on end to end Enterprise Message Monitoring projects and understands the challenges this brings.
2. Has an understanding of Ruby, YAML, JSON and XML messages from a parsing and analysis point of view
3. Will have experience working with Windows, Linux and Azure servers.
4. Be able to understand messages in the formats mentioned, visualise them and be able to transfer the messages to dashboards.
5. Wintel administration/support experience
6. Visualisation/Dashboarding
The ideal candidate will have experience around Log Anomaly Detection and will know how to deploy lightweight agents on to servers.
Accountabilities
· Installation/Uninstallation of messaging products (eg Elastic, SPLUNK, Dynatrace) products (ie: Beats, Logstash, Elastic server) across the landscape (that contains and not limited to FSS-3 Apriso servers, MWSS plugins, MWSS on premise client, Movilizer Cloud, SAP OER, Line Systems, GMES components)
· Ingest logs generated from monitored components.
· Calibrate and correlate logs in Logstash (coding skills required)
· Configure and display information on Kibana Dashboard.
· Risk assess potential impact on core solution.
· Test performance of products eg Elastic, SPLUNK, Dynatrace
· Single point of contact for break-fix, incident management, problem management of messaging products.
