Description
Our client is responsible for location-based services at approximately 70 locations in the Netherlands and 150 abroad. The provisions at these locations are being depreciated this year (and the subsequent 2 years) and are due for replacement. Apart from financial-administrative arguments, this replacement is primarily used to guarantee continuity of service as part of life cycle management (LCM).
The following tasks and result areas are recognized:
- The automation of tasks which are now carried out manually;
- Conducts day-to-day management of the network infrastructure
- Providing second-line support to end users;
- Gives proposals to the management of our client with regard to developments in the use of the network infrastructure;
- Bearing responsibility for the preparation and maintenance of the documentation and administration of components in the infrastructure;
- Resolving disruptions in the network infrastructure and the security network components in it;
- Whether or not in project form, to contribute to large-scale changes in (the use of) the network infrastructure;
- To contribute in an active way to the further professionalisation of the LAN WAN team
Job requirements:
- 8 years of broad knowledge of (developments in) the focus area ICT Network Management and Architecture and are able to document well.
- Certification CCNP
- Good control of both the Netherlands and English language in word and writing
- High degree of independence
- Stress-resistant and proactive setting
- Cisco ASA 5500
- Good knowledge of BGP
