Description
Equipment Engineer - Inverness - 6 months - £10 - £13 Per Hour
The equipment engineer will be expected to support equipment project delivery for production equipment. They will work to a tight timeline to ensure production equipment is commissioned and ready as required.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Project Support
Support assembly, commissioning and testing of production equipment.
Development of equipment and process for agreed changes to be implemented to the manufacturing equipment.
Equipment fault finding.
Generation of documentation for fault recovery & preventative maintenance.
Generation of test cases.
Optimising systems to improve up time and yield.
Provide training on equipment to 3rd parties.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Electrical/mechanical/pneumatic system knowledge
Knowledge of PLC/Microprocessor or computer controlled production equipment
Comprehend electrical and pneumatic schematics
Demonstration of sound methodology in fault finding techniques
Practical hands on person
Computer literate
Design review experience,
Machine safety regulations,
GMP Machine shop skills turning, milling, fitting etc., previous experience in a production/manufacturing environment,
Experience in creating specifications for new equipment, experience in validation of new equipment
