My client is a market leader in the design and manufacture of engineered equipment for the automotive industry and has a reputation for being at the cutting edge for innovation, quality and reliability.

Due to new and ongoing projects and to take their range of products to the next level an opportunity has arisen for an additional experienced Engineer to join the team based in Sweden.

The successful candidate will have a passion for engineering and a proven track record of success.

As part of the Advanced Battery Technology team your focus will be as a system engineer for the High voltage battery. The work will be done in tight cooperation with System Engineers from other organisational entities as well as suppliers. All with the focus to combine an exceptional drive/ride experience with the highest levels of safety, traffic and energy efficiency as well us user convenience.

As Hardware System Engineer High Voltage Battery Design, you will work in a team of engineers, with backgrounds in for instance systems- and controls theory, HW and SW engineering that work with the entire development cycle, including integration and verification in our vehicles. During the execution of this development, your team will heavily interact with neighbouring teams within Technical Development, suppliers, and also R&D partners, often in an international setting.

The role as System Engineer involves:

Responsibility for the system design & optimisation of HV Battery Pack.

Responsibility for development of system and component level requirements on the HV Battery Pack.

Supporting development of Functional and Electrical interfaces, and integration activities

Supporting development of design proposals on vehicle level.

Leading analysis of designs such as FMEA, FTA etc.

Maintain and develop development environment.

We are looking for someone who has:

Experience from Electric Vehicle, or Electric Hybrid Vehicle, development.

Knowledge in Battery Management Systems

Knowledge in System layout of High Voltage Battery Packs

Domain knowledge diagnostics/error detection on Battery Pack.

Experience from systems with functional safety requirements and related standards, ISO-26262.

Maintaining and develop development environment.

We are looking for someone who has:

Experience from Electric Vehicle, or Electric Hybrid Vehicle, development.

Domain knowledge Systems Engineering with regards to Electrical, mechanical and Thermal interfaces

Domain knowledge High Voltage Energy Storage Systems

Knowledge in diagnostics/error detection preferably applied to the Battery domain

Experience from systems with functional safety requirements and related standards, ISO-26262.
