This assignment is suited to someone looking for a complex and fast-paced environment, with lots of moving parts.
Whilst you will be an IT professional by trade, you will be working closely with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders, in a centralised Information Security team that sits outside of IT. IT will be a very important stakeholder, but your team will provide a holistic view of information governance, and recommend best practice solutions to reduce risk and maximise business opportunities.
The successful candidate will...
- have a considerable track record working on security projects for large, complex organisations - preferably business to consumer
- have an excellent understanding of security assessment and structured risk management approaches
- understand security design, architecture, and implementation (including cloud security architecture)
- have extensive experience in compliance management
- be proficient with industry standards for security & privacy frameworks
- have sound knowledge of the current IT landscape - vendors and technologies
- have excellent people and communication skills.
