My client, a London based market leader within clinical research operations have been established in Europe since 20001, urgently require an ICT Helpdesk Operative to work with them onsite at their London office.

Job title: ICT Helpdesk Operative / Administrator - 1 year contract working 2 days per week onsite at their London office.

To provide 1st and 2nd line deskside and phone support for staff. Under the supervision of the helpdesk manager.
Main duties / responsibilities (in order of priority)
Level of responsibility
1st and 2nd line IT support and operation of the IT Helpdesk system
On own initiative and with direction and supervision of ICT Helpdesk Manager
General deskside and remote Support - Outlook, Remote Access, Windows file and print, and Office 365.
On own initiative and with direction and supervision of ICT Helpdesk Manager
Escalation to 3rd line support including external 3rd party suppliers, vendors and support services
On own initiative and with direction and supervision of ICT Helpdesk Manager
Desk/Office Moves

On own initiative and with direction and supervision of ICT Helpdesk Manager
Update System Inventory

On own initiative and with direction and supervision of ICT Helpdesk Manager

6. Tools and equipment /software used
Spiceworks

Experience required

Minimum 2 years' experience in IT support
Specialist training required
None
Any particular aptitude / skill required

Able to use own initiative
Familiar with: Windows O/S (W7, W10, WS2008, WS2012) / File & Print services / Network Shares / Office365 / MS Office
