Description
Senior Middleware/Internet Engineer wanted for financial company based in Dublin. Candidates are required to work on site Monday-Friday for the first 3 months of the 12 month contract, and then flexibility can be given (1-2 days per week working from home).
The Middleware Engineer will be working with the Web Platform team (10 in total across Dublin, US and India), and will be responsible for building and implementing new Middleware components for processing platforms; working with JBoss, Apache, Tomcat, Webseal and WebSphere, as well as SSL.
The Middleware Engineer will be working with the Development & Applications teams and will be heavily involved within all documentation of installation and configuration procedures, resolving all application & usability issues and be involved with all project shakedown testing & troubleshooting.
The Internet Engineer must have experience with JBoss, Apache and Tomcat, although experience with F5 also is highly advantageous. It would be useful to have worked within payments/financial environments, although this is not a necessity. Any exposure/experience with SSL protocols will be a huge benefit also.
