Description
Join an international organisation at their main European office and provide technical support for a broad range of Oracle Fusion Middleware (FMW) software.The primary objective will be to provide support for Oracle BI Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) and Oracle BI Application (OBIA) services.
This is an initial 6 month contract with long term potential. It's an English-speaking role within a multinational environment and as well as working at a prestigious and global entity, you'll also enjoy all the benefits of Spain's 3rd largest city Valencia (beach, food, weather, activities and more!). Keep in mind Valencia is extremely affordable which is why this opportunity offers the mentioned rate. It is not a role for someone ONLY interested in financial gain.
Duties will include:
- Provide technical expertise in FMW Infrastructure components including WLS, OHS
- Provide technical expertise for Oracle BI Apps, OBIEE and ODI services.
- Provide technical support for a variety of Managed Fusion Middleware Hosting services (OAM, OIM, OVD, OID, ECM, WFR )
- Perform routine production support activities and provide incident and problem management support
- Troubleshoot OBIA, OBIEE and ODI related issues
- Monitor capacity
- Perform application upgrades
- Provide standby and on-call support as and when required
- Extensive knowledge of OBIA, OBIEE, and OID in production environments, including technical architecture design, installation, configuration and administrator support.
- Extensive knowledge in Weblogic and OHS configuration and management
- Good understanding of Fusion Middleware and its components
- Knowledge of ITIL Service Level Management Principles.
- Experience in creation of new environments, migration of code, patching and environment refreshes.
- Ability to troubleshoot and provide necessary support in this environment.
- Motivation an willingness to relocate (if needed) and work from Valencia full time for the next 12 months or more.
