Senior Embedded Software Engineer (m/f)

Main tasks:
- Developing high quality and reusable system components to extend the functionality of new products and reduce their maintenance costs
- Proposing innovative concepts to contribute to the company mission
- Formulating and analyzing high level requirements to develop engineering solutions
- Preparing system level designs for new product developments
- Creating detailed engineering work and requirements specifications
- The documentation about solutions and test results as well as their decisions
- The development of the basis of the technical documentation
Main qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in computer science, electronics or similar
- Profound development experience in embedded software
- Good knowledge of C/C++ with proven experiences in an embedded role
- Good knowledge of using one or more embedded RTOS (QNX, Linux etc.)
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, serial protocols or industrial fieldbus protocols is beneficial
- Experiences in agile development methods (SCRUM), unit test, continuous integration
- Ability to write specifications at all levels
