QC Inspector

Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a QC Inspector for one of our leading renewable energy clients. Will you be available from approx. 1st November for a 7 months freelance contract role with the opportunity to extend further thereafter? If you are interested, please read on.

This is a Full time role to work from our client's site in the North East of England, however, the Consultant would be required to travel to the client's offices in Denmark twice a month.

Job Description:

Visual Inspection of TP electrical work:

• Final inspection of the electrical installation prior to Hand Over
• Prepare and fill out the inspection checklists
• Control of the electrical test reports and test sheet prepared and filled-out by the contractor

Supervision of documentation delivered together with equipment document control such as:

• CE declaration
• Test certificates
• User/Installation manuals or notes

Components in scope (above)

• Cable ladders for LV and HV installations (up to 36kV)
• LV equipment (Lightning, sockets, sensor equipment, etc.)
• Davit crane installations
• Earthing installations
• Switchgear units

Our client is a market leader in renewable energy and has a 10-year pipeline worth of work; this a great opportunity to work for one of the biggest wind farms in the world.

Qualifications

• Technical/electrical education relevant for the subject matter.
• 3 years of work experience within a manufacturing process
• 1 year of experience from a similar position
