Description
Information Security Consultant. Digital organisation requires an Information Security professional to work on daily operations, performing a technical lead role, being hands on within the team and communicating effectively to the business.
Candidates should have 'hands-on' Information Security/Cyber Security experience (role is 70% technical, 30% consultancy), with the following core skills/experience:
- Leading security initiatives, building/configuring new tools, cyber security best practice
- Working with internal business units, security providers and external 3rd partie
- Excellent/broad technical knowledge of Infrastructure & network operating systems
- Scripting for API integration and BAU tasks (how to make them work/fit/do what they need to do!)
- Network Architectures - Securing multiple LANs over VPN and remote appliances
- Good knowledge of Cyber Security frameworks & how to enhance technical control areas
- Wide experience of Tools and dealing with the technical policies of them. Technical areas include;
Areas of technology include: Open source big data analysis (Elasticsearch, Kibana), EDR Services like Symantec Endpoint Protection, Tanium, CrowdStrike, etc, Cisco Umbrella, Low level database encryption, Powershell for Windows estate, Cloud, DLP policies, DNS encryption, DRP Solutions
This is an initial 3-6 month role, based in Cambridgeshire, easily commutable from surrounding counties including London.
