Workshop Service Engineer
The company
This role is working within the service centre of a world leader in the design and delivery of scientific instruments and equipment. The service Centre is ISO9001 certified and accredited by UKAS to ISO17025.
The role
Working in the beating heart of the service centre you will be servicing, troubleshooting and repairing equipment sent from a global customer base.
Day to day duties will be fault finding and diagnosis of system issues or failures. Carrying out competent repairs down to PCB level, Documenting faults and their resolution.
retaining customers by offering issue resolution and support.
Skill requirements
Having a recognised qualifications in electronics ie ONC/HNC or high level City and Guilds.
Previous experience of fault finding and repair in an electronics service environment.
Ability to recognise and solve issues.
Great communication skills with a professional manner.
