A global IT services company is searching for an Expert Technical Service Engineer to join their team in Dublin on a contract basis. Candidates must have a good understanding of Cloud/EMC SAN/VMware.
Role:
The Expert Technical Service Engineer will be responsible for supporting multiple products for multiple customers in order to maintain the availability and security of the service. The role holder will also deliver medium complexity work packages as part of customer implementation projects and will have the ability to understand complex situations and activities, also being able to communicate basic technical information to non-technical people.
Skills and Experience Required:
Experience of providing specific support in the area of Enterprise Backup, AWS support and Enterprise and Exchange Vault for several customers is required. Experience of planning for upgrades or extensions to backup environments is also required.
These include SMBC, DCC and Quartet and AWS project migration to managed service for the Irish Parliament. Experience of VMware, SAN and Unix skills particularly in EMC, RecoverPoint and Solaris is required.
