Description
We are now looking for an experienced, self-driven Senior Operations Engineer to strengthen the operations of our cloud service ecosystem. Together with a team of experts your challenge is to develop the operations landscape to meet the ever increasing demands from our business stakeholders, ensuring the availability, reliability and security of our cloud ecosystem. In this position, your main focus is to build, automate and integrate the deployments behind one of the world's largest Cloud deployments. You'll be driving innovation and improvement of key operation's areas, with a strong focus on cyber security.
Desired background and skills:
Hands-on experience in software deployment and/or development in a cloud environment (eg AWS, OpenStack).
Experience in managing Internet-facing cloud services, understanding of the cyber security threat landscape big-picture.
Solid understanding of how IP Networks and protocols work, experience with network troubleshooting.
Hands-on Linux server administration skills.
Experience with deployment and configuration management tools and frameworks (eg Ansible).
Programming and Scripting skills (eg Python) supporting the ability to automate manual administrative tasks to support large scale deployments. Experience with managing large scale (1000+ nodes) Linux server fleets considered an advantage.
