NextLink is looking for a Middleware & Linux Administrator with Fluent English and Spanish to work in Madrid, Spain for a contract position of 6 months + in a multinational client.
Job Description:
Linux
3- 5 years of experience in SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (11, 12) preferably (or at least Red Hat Enterprise Server 7) in the following areas:
- Common Linux administration tasks
- Bash Scripting
- Network and disk configuration
- Basic services: web, FTP, Postfix
- Authentication (PAM, Netbind, Samba)
- Performance troubleshooting
- Kernel tunables
- Multipathing configuration (DM-Multipath, PowerPath).
- Clustering (SUSE Linux High Availability)
Basic knowledge of AWS administration.
Middleware
3 - 5 year of experience with Linux and Windows operating systems regarding:
- Common administration tasks
- Performance troubleshooting
- Security (authentication, certificates)
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the following Middleware technologies:
- IIS 7.5/8.5 on Windows with .NET Framework integration
- Apache Tomcat 7 on Linux and Windows
- Apache HTTP server 2.4 on Linux
Basic knowledge of AWS administration.
