Main tasks:
- Development of mid to high complex functional blocks and modules in a OEM high performance amplifier with integrated tuner for car audio - high complexity in used technology, bus network and huge amount of variants
- Generating detailed hardware block diagram of function block(s), perform schematic design, hardware block integration in target application under consideration of guidelines, best BOM cost, low power consumption, thermal design constraints and environmental conditions
- Define and document layout placement requirements
- Design verification hardware of above named systems and their optimization
Main qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor´s degree in engineering (electrical engineering, telecommunications or appropriate graduation)
- Profound experience in the hardware development, hardware verification and measurement of analogue designs (like audio amplifier, tracking power supplys, high power power supplys, audio power stages and audio in/out) and digital hardware design in the area of SOC, IOC, memory complex (DDR3, SRAM, Flash technologies ), bus systems
- Excellent know-how and experience in hardware design verification of complex systems by using standard and advanced measurement tools in audio, analogue and digital area
- Familiarity in working with ECAD design tools for schematic/layout realization and simulation (e.g. Mentor Graphics, SPICE etc.) as well as Microsoft applications
- High knowledge of the requirements inside the automotive area, especially for EMC
- Structured and goal- and result-orientated working style
- Ability to work in a team
- Good spoken and written German and English language skills
