Description
We are looking for one "NETWORK ADMIN - LAN/Cisco/Checkpoint " to start from ASAP a 40 w/days contract (initial, extensions possible) for an international Org' client in Rome with possibility of extension based on performance and budget availability.

TASKS
The Network Administrator will be responsible for administering client Local Area Network (LAN) and devices' configuration. In addition, his/her specific duties will include:
- Providing installation and maintenance of all network equipment classified as:
- Routers and Switches
- IDS/IPS
- Firewalls
- Anti-Malware Protection Systems
- Perform test and installation of Operating System software on servers.
- Monitoring the performance of the whole network and to troubleshoot all areas including cables, and other media linked to the network configuration.
- Studying problems (or anticipates potential problems) and suggesting which procedures, methods, or techniques are required for computer-based solution to the problems.
- Participating (along with users) in systems evaluation.
- Identifying systems errors and recommends system modifications.
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
SKILLS
- Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Strong expertise and knowledge of Checkpoint family of Firewall and security appliances.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional working experience in maintenance and servicing of Complex Network Infrastructures.
- CISCO Networking Certified Engineer.
- Working knowledge of client server, Windows Server, VMWare ESX administration, and install and configure Linux/Unix servers
