IT Security Engineer (Fortinet Specialist) - Brussels, Belgium
Languages: ENGLISH and FRENCH.
Description of work:
- The consultant will work within the service "Infrastructure and Technology Services" whose main mission is to ensure the continued operation of the equipment of the server rooms (hosting, Middleware, network, DB, etc.) as well as client Firewall under management contract.
- They will participate in second/third line support.
- They will join the Network & Security team to assist in day-to-day activities and deployment of network and security projects.
- It will report to the Technical Domain Owner Network & Security.
- Ensure the proper management and security of the computer network: switching (Cisco), routing (Cisco), Firewall (Cisco and Fortinet), DMZ, VPN (Fortinet), MFA.
- Monitor the network at the performance and capacity levels.
- Plan and maintain network maintenance.
- Participate in network optimization studies and verify the suitability of network solutions implemented in terms of performance, accessibility of applications, their stability, etc.
- Write and maintain the documentation.
- Provide user support and respond to incidents in order to restore normal operation as soon as possible.
- Ticket tracking at the ITIL procedures level.
