Description

Excellent opportunity to work with this exciting media services company in central Amsterdam.

You will:
Assist with the design and installation of Media Technologies Solutions internationally
Work with other team members throughout the project life cycle to establish and adapt projects plans and milestones.
Own and deliver crucial elements of the project's technical deployment
Take part in the incident and problem management processes for responsible teams and departments
Drive client/customer satisfaction by delivering systems to an agreed specification and SLAs
Routine reporting on project progress and issues to internal stakeholders
Escalate issues to Media Technologies Supervisor and Senior Engineer for resolution
Part of a team that shares the provision of on-call and out-of-hours support
Liaise with integrators, and external vendors involved in support and project issues
Participate in knowledge transfer, documentation and information sharing
Ensure timely and risk adverse implementation of solutions to prevent issues from occurring
Build, maintain and develop relationships with key customers and partners

A minimum of 2 years' experience in supporting a dynamic and demanding technical (broadcasting & media management) environment
Familiar with the Windows and Linux operating systems
Experienced with the implementation and support of Broadcast Workflows and Systems, such as:
Transcoding
Digital Delivery
Storage (tape based or cloud based)
Automation and QC (eg Interra Baton, BPA Automate)
Ability to manipulate data (XML/XSLT, JSON), using RESTful APIs, Regular Expressions, etc.
Understand the concept of virtualization techniques like VMware/ESX management
Good working knowledge of TCP/IP Networks, routing and switching
Backup & recovery experience essential
Capability to manipulate elastic resource pools to meet operational demands - (an advantage)
Owning workflow and asset management systems BPMN2.0 fluency - (an advantage)
Familiar with Computer Deployment implementation and support of such systems as (Git, Change Control, Puppet, etc.)
Fluent communication skills in English
Experience in working in an international environment with a multicultural employee base;
